Busy, busy, busy! Detailing groups, getting payments, collecting rooming lists, booking new business and getting the contracts out, oh my. Still have over 800 leads to begin working to qualify. I need 20 hours a day!
Next week starts the Opera Training from the 8th until the 16th. I’ve been pushing my appointments until after the training. Seems like such a long way to go to make hot appointments wait but there is nothing I can do. We need a sales program. Pulling trace cards, writing in files, coping my DOS, keeping manual track of contracts out and all is simply too much. I can be much more efficient if I had a sales program. In the past I got very good at Goldmine and I loved it. So I’m hoping that this program is similar.
The Blitz………here we go again…….the Blitz that was scheduled for Wed, Thurs and tomorrow that just isn’t happening. The Food & Beverage Team abandoned the Blitz to put ads in the local paper. Ok, maybe a good idea but costly and we all know that there is noting like face to face contact. I think I’m the only one that cared besides the Restaurant Staff.
Tomorrow is Friday. Normally I’m excited. But I know that I will be tied up starting next week. I like to plan my actions and I can’t seem to get the game plan down with my upcoming training. I’m not a clock watcher and I don’t mind working overtime. We have a lot of data that will need to be entered into our new system.
I know that I receive a lot of inquiries daily and I have mastered the art of grabbing them up. If someone is going to take the time to call or stop in, I want them. And I cringe when I think of what I might lose because I won’t be available. Guess I will have to work that out and get the plan together over the weekend.
Well, I’m wrapping up. It’s time to relax and take a break or I should say….a brain break! Good luck selling tomorrow!
